Here are a few discussion questions to get started. There are no right or wrong answers. Just share what you think, and then work your way down the page learning together!

• FOR FUN: Hand each other objects and try to guess what they are with your eyes closed!
• Have you ever been lost in the dark?
• How hard do you think it would be to get through a whole day blindfolded?
• What would some challenges be if you were blind?
• How does it feel when someone forgives you?

One day Jesus was out and about when two blind men asked Him to do a miracle and cure them so they could see. Jesus asked them if they believed He could do it. They said, "Yes!" so He touched their eyes and they were healed! Watch this video as Mike and Ike try to see if belief is enough to make a blind person able to see again!

These blind men wanted to be healed, but Jesus wanted to know if they believed. God doesn't just go around passing out miracles randomly. He wants to know if we believe. Belief is a key to receiving miracles.

Everyone wants a miracle, but sometimes Jesus wants to see first whether we believe He can do it.

Jesus noticed the suffering of those who were following Him. These men called out to Him, and He heard them. Jesus healed many, but not everyone. What made the difference? It shows that Jesus notices, cares, and often wants to do miracles to make things better. What about the times Jesus doesn’t heal? Does He still care? Of course.

The Bible says that every GOOD gift we get comes from God.

Think about it: God doesn’t heal everyone, but He helps, comforts, and uses everyone to share His love with others. What can you do to be a miracle to someone who is in need?

The other important part of this story is that Jesus was demonstrating not only that He had the power to heal, but that He had the authority to forgive sins. He wasn’t here just to heal people’s bodies, but to heal hearts as well. Sometimes we want God to do a miracle, but what we need first is forgiveness, and that comes with repentance. Once we repent and turn from sin, we make a way for miracles to happen. That can be in our life, or in the life of someone else!

Sometimes God wants to use YOU to be a miracle in someone’s life! YOU just might be an answer to prayer to someone. Do you believe God can do a miracle in your life? Do you believe God can use you to BE a miracle in someone else’s life?
