Sunday's Video:

This weeks Power Up: FAITH

READ the Story of Peter walking on water in Matthew 14:22-33
How would you like to be the ONLY PERSON to have done something in all of human history? Peter has that honor, as no regular person has ever walked on water like Jesus did! How was he able to step out of a boat and start walking on water? It was because he was looking at Jesus and had the faith to step out. Faith is different than belief. Faith is ACTING on what you believe. We might believe a trampoline is safe to jump on, but getting on the trampoline and jumping up and down is faith - it is actually DOING something because of what we believe. If we really believe in Jesus, than we'll ACT when He challenges us to do something, no matter how crazy and scary it may seem. Focusing on Jesus will give us the faith we need!

GOD CONTROLLER:

REMOTE CONTROLLED BY GOD!
Another important button on your controller is the FORWARD button. If don’t move forward, you will never advance in a game. But you can’t always move straight forward. Sometimes there are obstacles to overcome. Sometimes you have to go over, under, or around things. But ultimately, you have to move FORWARD at some point. Peter chose to go FORWARD even though it meant leaving the safety and security of the boat! It meant risk, danger, and possible peril! But he knew that JESUS was also straight ahead and that gave him the courage to go FORWARD no matter what.
