Director Gary Crant is interviewing actors for his next Big Bible Blockbuster movie! Who is it this week?
In this Bible Blockbuster lesson, we are learning the about the "Big Crime." Jacob cheated his brother out of his birthright and later his blessing. He thought by cheating he would get more - but it actually cost him a lot! Cheating on gains us a short victory, and is always followed by defeat, disappointment and destruction. What he took God had promised him, but he wasn't patient enough to wait for it. That's what happens when we sin - often we are after something good, but we are taking a short-cut and not waiting for God's perfect timing.

This week we are learning that our GOD is IMMUTABLE – meaning He’s unchanging and permanent. Can you say that word? IMMUTABLE
Read Scripture: Malachi 3:6 I the Lord do not change.
After you ever seen one of those aging apps? You can put in a picture of yourself and it tries to guess what you will look like some day when you are old. You won't know if it is right for many years! If you could put a picture of God in that app, it wouldn't age at all! Because God DOESN’T age – He is unchanging and permanent!
READ: Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ never changes! He is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

MOVIE PROP: The Camera
In a movie, mics are used to record the audio. A good mic helps record music and speech with good quality. There are entire teams in movie making that are dedicated just to making sure the sound recordings are good.
THE POINT: In a movie, the lines said by the actors are very important. We may be focused on the action or special effects, but without any talking or conversation, we wouldn’t understand what we were seeing. In movies, words matter. In life, our words matter, too. And our words are being recorded. The Bible says we will give an account for every careless word we say, so let’s use our words wisely.
READ: Matthew 12:36 I promise you on the day of judgment, everyone will have to account for every careless word they have spoken.
