THIS WEEK: ZOOMIN' Over Numbers!

Parents, as church is re-opening, instead of full length kids church services, Pastor Karl is creating a new video every week that will be used both during the live, in-person service at his church, as well as here on PastorKarl.com for families who are unable to attend in-person, as well as for kids all over the world to enjoy!

Family Discussion Ideas:

  • PARENTS: Here is a fun number trick to do with the family:
    • Have everyone think of a number from 1 to 10, but not say it out loud.
    • Now, double it. Then, Add 8.
    • Next, Divide by 2. (Same as "Make it half")
    • Now, subtract your original number you started with.
    • Then announce you know the number they now are thinking of: THE NUMBER FOUR!
    • AMAZING! How did you do it? It's just magical math!
  • Do you have a favorite number? What is it? Why is that your favorite?
  • How many people are in your family?
  • Take a census of your family. How many family extended family members can you list in one minute?
  • What did Wilbur's drone zoom in on?
  • What did that object have to do with the lesson?
  • How many sins do you think people have committed? (a lot!)
  • How many sins did Jesus die for on the cross? (ALL of them!)
  • Was Jesus..
    • A. Sometimes Good
    • B. Pretty Good
    • C. Mostly Good
    • D. Perfectly Good
  • Do you remember the Bible verse?
  • Since Jesus paid for our sins, how should that affect how we live?
  • Take a minute to pray and thank at least three things He has done for you.
