Families, gather around and enjoy this service together. Watch the video and then use the discussion questions below to have a conversation about the lesson.

Current Series: A Word with Wilbur - ZOOMIN' Over the First Five Books of the Bible (AKA The Pentateuch)

THIS WEEK: ZOOMIN' Over Leviticus!

Parents, as church is re-opening, instead of full length kids church services, Pastor Karl is creating a new video every week that will be used both during the live, in-person service at his church, as well as here on PastorKarl.com for families who are unable to attend in-person, as well as for kids all over the world to enjoy!

Family Discussion Ideas:

  • What is the most boring thing you have to do?
  • Do you like rules? What rules do you not like? What rules do you NOT like?
  • Why are rules important?
  • What would the world be like if there were NO rules?
  • Make up a silly rule that should be obvious, like "Don't play checkers in the middle of the street."
  • What did Wilbur's drone zoom in on?
  • What did that object have to do with the story?
  • Why do police wear badges?
  • Why should we respect people with a badge?
  • Many police cars say, "To Serve and Protect." What do think that means?
  • Who else serves and protects us?
  • How many people have broken God's laws?
  • Who paid the penalty for our sins? (our law breaking)
  • Do you remember the Bible verse?
  • What did Jesus do to pay the cost for our sin?
  • Have you asked Jesus to be your Savior?
  • Take a minute to pray and thank Jesus for what He did.

Here is a Bonus Video from Pastor Karl to watch and discuss:

All of us have sinned. No one is perfect. Well, no one except Jesus. In this video Pastor Karl explains why Jesus came and how we can have His forgiveness for our sins and know that we are forgiven.
NEW: Pastor Karl has launched a new Podcast called: Pastor Karl's Bedtime Stories! It is available on Apple Podcasts and Google Play. (OR, if you have Alexa, just say, "Alexa, play Pastor Karl's Bedtime Stories on Apple Podcasts" - and yes, you can listen at any time of day, it doesn't have to be bedtime!)

Be sure to come back NEXT WEEK for another fun video!
