Families, gather around and enjoy this service together. Watch the video and then use the discussion questions below to have a conversation about the lesson.

THIS WEEK: ZOOMIN' Over Exodus

Parents, as church is re-opening, instead of full length kids church services, Pastor Karl is creating a new video every week that will be used both during the live, in-person service at his church, as well as here on PastorKarl.com for families who are unable to attend in-person, as well as for kids all over the world to enjoy!

Family Discussion Ideas:

  • What is one of your favorite vacations?
  • Quick Game: How many relatives can you name in 60 seconds? (Take turns!)
  • Have you ever wanted to escape somewhere?
  • Whats the closest you've ever been to experiencing a plague?
  • What "plague" would get you to agree to anything? (math? stomach ache? flies? etc.)
  • God people had their "ups and downs" as WIlbur described it. Have you ever had times like that?
         What are some of the "ups and downs" you've been through?
  • What did Wilbur's drone zoom in on?
  • What did that object have to do with the story?
  • Where did God's People need to escape (Exodus) from?
  • Do you know what miracles God did for His people?
  • How many times can you flip a coin on the same side? (Not very many!)
  • How should we make decisions?
  • Are there any big decisions you are facing? Talk about them.
  • Do you remember the Bible verse?
  • Is there a need that you are concerned about? Share it.
  • Take some time to pray about your needs.
  • If you have any questions, don't be afraid to ask. That's what family is for!
