This month, in addition to learning about becoming a Fisher of Men, we're also learning about Spiritual Disciplines. We can't lead others to Jesus if we aren't drawing closer to Jesus ourselves. Kids hear all the time to "read their Bible, pray and go to church," so we'll be learning about some of the lesser known spiritual disciplines this month.

  • What are YOU thankful for?
  • Take the letters of your name and write them out!
  • Now, think of something YOU are thankful for that starts with each letter of your name! If you have a short name, do you last name too!

Below is our THEME VERSE for the Month, work on memorizing it!

BONUS VIDEO: Sunday we learned about Jonah, who ended up in the belly of a whale because he didn't want to go tell some REALLY BAD PEOPLE about God - partly because he thought they were too bad to turn to God and partly because he was scared of them. But he learned the hard way, that there is no one beyond God's love and forgiveness!
