Parents, whether your kids are attending church, or worshiping at home online - this page is FOR YOU as well as for them! Watch with your kids and then use the discussion questions below to have an intention conversation on the week's lesson. If your kids attend Highpoint Church with Pastor, it's a great review! SECOND: Watch "Noduh the Wise One"

This month, in addition to learning about becoming a Fisher of Men, we're also learning about Spiritual Disciplines. We can't lead others to Jesus if we aren't drawing closer to Jesus ourselves. Kids hear all the time to "read their Bible, pray and go to church," so we'll be learning about some of the lesser known spiritual disciplines this month.

THIRD: Discussion Questions

  • What was the Great Commission? Those words aren't used in the Bible, why do think Jesus' words are called the GREAT COMMISSION?
  • Jesus said to go into all the world - but he started with Jerusalem (his town), then Judah (his community), then Samaria (the next community over, cross-cultural) and THEN the "ends of the earth." We need to start with where we are before we think about going around the world. Who can we reach right where we are?
  • What was your favorite part of the video with Noduh the Wise one? Did you learn anything?
  • When do you get to enjoy solitude?
  • How is solitude different from being alone?
  • Why should we seek some time of solitude?
  • Where can you best get solitude to focus on God?
  • Take a minute and PRAY for someone you know who needs Jesus. That is a great way to start!
