Families, gather around and enjoy this service together. Watch the video and then use the discussion questions below to have a conversation about the lesson.
Family Discussion Ideas:
- PARENTS: Here is a fun number trick to do with the family:
- Have everyone think of a number from 1 to 10, but not say it out loud.
- Now, double it. Then, Add 8.
- Next, Divide by 2. (Same as "Make it half")
- Now, subtract your original number you started with.
- Then announce you know the number they now are thinking of: THE NUMBER FOUR!
- AMAZING! How did you do it? It's just magical math!
- Do you have a favorite number? What is it? Why is that your favorite?
- How many people are in your family?
- Take a census of your family. How many family extended family members can you list in one minute?
- What did Wilbur's drone zoom in on?
- What did that object have to do with the lesson?
- How many sins do you think people have committed? (a lot!)
- How many sins did Jesus die for on the cross? (ALL of them!)
- Was Jesus..
- A. Sometimes Good
- B. Pretty Good
- C. Mostly Good
- D. Perfectly Good
- Do you remember the Bible verse?
- Since Jesus paid for our sins, how should that affect how we live?
- Take a minute to pray and thank at least three things He has done for you.
