That’s a BIG WORD! “Sanctification!” (Can you say it?)
It’s a BIG WORD that simply means “Grow!”
Sanctification is the lifelong process of becoming more like Jesus. When we believe in Him, we’re forgiven instantly — that’s salvation. But growing to live like Him? That takes time, choices, and God’s help!
Our story today reminds us that following Jesus isn’t just a one-time moment — it’s an everyday adventure of growing in faith, kindness, obedience, and love. God’s Holy Spirit helps us change on the inside so our lives begin to look more like Jesus on the outside. Just like a plant needs sunlight, water, and care to grow, we need prayer, God’s Word, and obedience to grow strong in our faith.
