HEY KIDS! WELCOME!

Welcome to BIG Bible Words!

During this series, you'll be learning some BIG WORDS from the Bible. Grown-Ups call them "THEOLOGY" words - Theology simply means "Theo" (God) "ology" (the study of) so.... THEO-OLOGY is just the Study of God. During this series you'll learn some BIG WORDS, but you'll also learn there are usually some little words that mean the same thing. As Pastor Karl says, "Grown up are big, so they like Big Words, but there are little words that mean the same thing," and make learning the Big Words easier!

WEEK EIGHT

Can you UNSCRAMBLE this BIG WORD?

A-C-F-G-I-I-I-L-N-O-O-R-T

Here's a HINT at what it means:

READY for the BIG WORD?

That’s a BIG WORD! “Glorification!” (Can you say it?)

It’s a BIG WORD that simply means “Forever!”

Glorification is God’s promise that one day, when we are with Him in heaven, He will make everything brand-new — including us! No more sickness, no more sadness, no more sin. We will be fully like Jesus, completely transformed, and with Him forever.

Right now, we’re saved (that’s salvation), we’re growing (that’s sanctification), but one day we’ll be completely changed — that’s glorification! It’s God’s final step in His amazing plan for His children. Just like a caterpillar becomes a butterfly, glorification means God will finish His work in us and we’ll become everything He created us to be — perfect, joyful, and with Him forever.
Glorification reminds us that following Jesus isn’t just about this life — it’s about an amazing forever life with Him!
Here are some Bible verses about SANCTIFICATION to look up and talk about:

  • 1 Corinthians 15:52–53 “…the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable…”

  • Philippians 3:20–21 “He will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like His glorious body.”

  • 1 John 3:2 “When Christ appears, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.”
Glorification = Forever NEW

Summary: Glorification means that one day Jesus will make us completely new, perfect, and with Him forever.

Challenge: When life gets tough, remember — this world is not the end! God has an amazing forever planned for you.

Prayer: “Lord, thank You for the promise of forever with You. Help me live each day with hope, knowing You will finish Your work in me. Amen.”

Here is our THEME VERSE for this series...

See if you can memorize it!
